I was delighted to be photographer at last month's Art Off The Rock biennial fund raising art auction for Artlink Central at the University of Stirling. To be capturing the atmosphere  as the tension built was great fun! Photographing the auction in full swing - auctioneer, lots and bidders - a real thrill! With lots donated by leading Scottish and UK artists, the auction was a great success raising over £18,000 for this great charity. Read more about the auction and the work of Artlink here.

Re-creating Education!

2/2/2013

Recorded in 2006 at a TED conference in California, this witty and refreshing look at our approach to  education  still provokes animated discussion and debate. Challenging and lighthearted, it prompts us to rethink how we are educating our children.

'Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining and profoundly moving
case for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines)
creativity. Creativity expert Sir Ken Robinson challenges the way we're educating
our children. He champions a radical rethink of our school systems, to cultivate
creativity and acknowledge multiple types of intelligence.'  TED
